Its been a while since I last posted a mix on FVCV, but in my recent efforts to actually make a mix myself using Ableton i've now gained a newfound appreciation for just how difficult it is to put one together with the style and grace that professional DJs do with such ease. So for now I think i'll leave it up to people like Mr. Alan Hostage who never fail at delivering a solid mix, which is just what I'm posting here today. Loving the mix name..loving the tracks.. loving the 320kbs.Hostage - Does My Bass Look Big In This? (Mix October 2008) [Direct Link!]
And in a FVCV first, a two image post! Pretty damn crazy! The reason for this is that Night Facilities AKA Louis La Roche sent me over his newest EP "Love Kills", which in fact includes a reworking of Freddie Mercury's own track of the same title as an A-side, with the B-side featuring a metal influenced original called "Hash Brownie". The whole thing is available for free on the Night Facilities Myspace page, but Brett was nice enough to let me host it right here on the blog which is always a good thing in my book.
