Lets clear up one thing quickly: I love metal and I love metal remixes. They create the perfect mixture of party and the desire to roundhouse kick suckas in the face. Well to me, the Bloody Beetroots remix of Metallica's "Seek and Destroy" really takes the crown for best Metallica rework of all time, with Bob Rifo infusing a little Daft Punk sampling here and there and giving it a different level of bigness (the original was epic but this is a different matter altogether).

Justice's famous remix of "Master of Puppets" would have perhaps trumped the Bloody Beetroots efforts, had it been released [Did it get released or leaked for that matter? Am I missing something?]. Oh well, this video is pretty damn epic anyways.

Now for something a little bit more recent. Herve has also tried his hand at reworking a classic Metallica song in "Enter Sandman". You may have heard him and Sinden drop this at their Creamfields 2008 set, but if not, you should definitely give it a burl. Herve's take on the track is a true rework, simply making the hits a little harder, and giving it a bit of distortion here and there; which is all this track needs to get have it dancefloorfriendlified.

METALLICA Rules! They sound awesome live in concert too! I can't wait to see them when they come to New York. I found their 2008 and 2009 Tour Dates at www.MetallicaConcertTickets.com and looks like they'll be around until at least February 2009!
